After the service today, we all sang the nation’s anthem. And while we did, I felt joy in me that I’m part of this great nation. I know in it’s wonderful sides and phases, it has contributed to my utmost making as God wills.
I believe a lot of us are from locations we might not be so proud of and all. I have heard some, wishing they are not from certain places while some are most grateful for it. The truth is whether you desired that place you are right now or it seems to be a place brought to be by “coincidence”, your location is a blessing and not a curse.
We are celebrating Nigeria today and in all it’s ups and downs, we are still here, though not at the exact expectations we would have wanted. But truly I as an individual, maybe if I wasn’t from here, wouldn’t have been part of a great family as I do have, wouldn’t have met with people who were, have been and still are a blessing till today to my life as a person. I am grateful for His bliss and all moments: good or bad; the experiences are worth it because they are a mold to my being today, they were instruments of making and grooming God used for me. We can’t thank God enough if we haven’t seen the blessing in it all, even in the location we are in at the moment.
Where you are at the moment – place of birth, place of stay (dwelling) ain’t a mistake I must say. Yeah, some happened not planned for, but if you take a keen look, you would realise a lot of things that has molded you to be the You today, are a major part of where you were and are from.
Stop seeing your vicinity as a “but” to progressing; quit seeing it as a “set back”. Start seeing it as a “push” towards destiny fulfillment; see it as a “launch forward”; see it as a “bearing straightener”.
Remembering God had a plan and still has (the best in plan)
** “I say this because I know the plans that I have for you.β This message is from the Lord. βI have good plans for you. I donβt plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future.”
Jer. 29:11 ERV.
when He permitted your entry into that state, Country or locality. Celebrate where you are from, the truth is we are a product of our locality – if only we would pick the best out of it and see the best in it.
You are just not there by any iota of mistake. You are divinely positioned for greatness. You are divinely situated for the best.
So today, I celebrate Nigeria. I am so much glad to be from here and from a town where people call a “village”, loll. Trust me, it’s a blessing being a part of the great Nigeria. Recession or no Recession, we are living and God has been God.
