Each morning rising is beyond just having to wake up and do different things for the rest of the day. It’s a blessing from God unto mankind for us all to have the privilege of waking up.
There’s this song that is in Yoruba but would do my best to translate for all understanding.
** I am alive!
I am alive!
Ah!, All the praise belongs to you.
That we go to bed each night, observe our siestas and we are still able to rise up each and every time, surely is beyond our power. It goes beyond our “state of well being” or “we having a great health with no record of illness”. Many have died not because they had any illness they were nursing.. Not at all!. But it still happened. But even in all this, we are privileged to rise up daily to get involved in our daily activities or routines. That’s simply amazing I must say. God is indeed Almighty. His acts in us are unfathomable.
I read and I have heard this – That though we claim we are being woken up by our Alarm 🕒, the truth of it is – No!. Because an Alarm 🕒 even when at it’s loudest would never wake a dead man up. It won’t!.
Looking at all this, it’s expedient for us all to give all the Glory to God. For He is our safe haven.
For He alone is worthy; and deserves all our praises. No man deserves it. Even if it’s your friend or sibling or parent who gets to wake you up daily – it’s still God who deserves it all. Because many have tried waking up their loved ones on a certain morning or evening and they just couldn’t respond to them. They couldn’t smile, have a stretch and utter good morning to their loved ones who had come to them just because such individual(s) had passed on.
It will forever remain a blessing; a rare privilege that can only come from God to preserve us all. Because they who have passed on (either known by us or not) are not less righteous or less life deserving than we all who still have the ability to inhale and exhale. They were not considered sinners and we a saint. But all known to God; that was permitted to happen for a greater good I believe.
In it all, let’s be thankful. Let’s be appreciative & what better way can we be appreciative of live in as much as we live and have our being as the Psalmist proclaimed. It’s is in making every second of one’s life count. Make every moment positive. Make every contact worthwhile. Make every second & minute a blessing.
See hope in life because you have been privileged to another 24 hours that your works isn’t & can’t be a determinant for you qualifying for it.
Stop being sad about life. You have got another 24 hours of living to make a Living difference. Make wise use of it, just as the faithful stewards whose talents were effectively utilised and yielded a 100% return.
See you all at the top and celebrate life more. It’s a blessing to you because deserving of it or not – You are still alive. Make wise use of it!.
Take a minute and reminisce – You can do a lot more if only you see Life as God will want you to.
