I do not know how many people fall into the category of a “fearful waiting period”. But really, as humans we find it very easy to fall into that category cos we are short sighted, so much as all we see is what is currently happening around us. And that which is currently happening are lots of failed marriages, so much increase in Child Abuse, home violence and all sort. 

But in it all, our fears and doubts clearly shows we being human but yet still, as children of the most high, we are admonished to give it all to Him.

So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; he’ll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.

1 Peter 5:6‭-‬7 MSG

Yes, as much as fear might pop in in our hearts, there is a greater need for us to cast it all to God. 

We can’t keep on in fear and expect the best. There is this mantra I hold on to – As much as there is fear – God is still above my fears. This calms me eventually whilst in the midst of doubts and fright.

The truth is many things happening and that would still happen would make us fidget at one point or the other. But in it all, keep your faith above your fears. Yes, Christ exercised this while He slept in the boat because He knew who He was and who He bore inside of Him.
** A very bad wind came up on the lake. The waves were coming over the sides and into the boat, and it was almost full of water.

Vs 37
** Jesus was inside the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow. The followers went and woke him. They said, “Teacher, don’t you care about us? We are going to drown!”

God in us should make us rise above our fears. I won’t promise you the absence of fear or the thoughts not coming to play at all. But I will promise you that the more it comes, the more the need for you to hand it all over to Him and the more He is ready to be of help. Just as He has been leading you, He won’t stop and leave you stranded at such crucial point of your life. 

Rise above your fears today. Be that lady, that man who has so much faith in God as to not allow fear to pin him or her to a spot and expect less from life. I will always say – God gives the best as much as His plans are the best for us. 

If you think you deserve less before now, breaking news – you deserve a whole lot more!!!. You deserve the best in Him. But to be a partaker of this. You’ve got to stay with Him. Dine with Him, allow Him into all your affairs. Let Him be your first companion. See Him as your friend and embrace His uniqueness in you. 

Remember you are not alone in life. So don’t let fear walk on your streets like a wanderer who obviously has no place or right at your residence. Kick out that fear – express it all to Him and remember He cares for all your fears. He cares for all your needs. He understands all your needs and He is ready to meet them all according to His riches in Glory. 
        

Celebrate your being single and kick off in purpose as the Best surely awaits you. 

Don’t be a Waiter – one who puts all (his or her life) on hold just because he or she is still single. Instead be an Accomplisher – one who takes charge of his or her life as God wills and never for once allow his or her singleness turn to be a thing of shame or cause timidity. Be a single with pride (Good self esteem – not pompous) and with worth (develop yourself – learn new things, groom yourself and represent your brand well as God pleases). 

I celebrate you all – singles (male and female) cos you are blessed within and out. You have got a whole lot in you – let it out!.

Stop wasting while waiting. Yes!, stop letting the virtues in you go into coma and loss just because you are a sleeping and inactive single. Stop tagging yourself awful (displeasing and all) when you are not. You can do a lot, you can achieve a lot and you can be your best too. I do not believe in the half you – I believe in a complete you cos Christ saves and completes us to the utmost.

I celebrate all singles who are single but yet Graced. Come-on let’s arise to our calls (the visions set before us) and walk in life as a Graced single.

You can be one today, cos we all are work in progress – we keep on growing. We keep on moving, growing and being groomed!.
