…. I was on a bike one cold morning & at a point, I needed to keep my phone which I held in one of the bags I carried. But I couldn’t place it in because we were under a mini tunnel and because it was in the early hours of the morning, it was still dark. I had to wait a while till we got through the tunnel before I was finally able to.
I then thought to myself that a lot of times, we are often caught up in the fright of the unknown (moments when we want to do something but we don’t seem to have the capacity to at that time). Moments when we have to hold on to the utmost (our hope in God) alone because nothing around us seem as the light we seek for, to alleviate the stress we’ve put on ourselves & the burden of fear (would I make it through..?) that comes up in our thoughts & minds.
I read a book recently & it was stated that “every man always look out for his or herself first”. I then reckon why Christ admonished us “not to worry” reminding us that God will definitely see to our welfare as He does for the birds of the air who never go hungry & in it’s stead feed well. So why won’t He care much more about us?π
God has our best interest at heart always and we should not let our hope in Him drain out just because the coast seems unclear at the moment. Or because the dark clouds seem all thickened with no hope for a clear cloud soonest. Why don’t you in it’s stead trust that the rain which succeeds the thick clouds will come through soonest for you.
Deary!, focus on the light ahead and quit on seeing the dark tunnel cos the dark tunnel is only a phase (which is ephemeral) which won’t last for long. Hope in the things ahead: the light ahead of you and the showers of abundant rain that succeeds the dark clouds.
Be encouraged. It’s only a phase.
Do read these verses below:ππ
— After a short time the sky was covered with dark clouds. The wind began to blow, and a heavy rain began to fall. Ahab got in his chariot and started back to Jezreel.
1 Kings 18:45 ERV
— All who compete in the games use strict training. They do this so that they can win a prizeβone that doesnβt last. But our prize is one that will last forever. So I run like someone who has a goal. I fight like a boxer who is hitting something, not just the air.
1 Cor. 9:25β-β¬26 ERV
You’ve got a price (a lasting one), don’t quit before your breakthrough comes forth.
He always comes through for you and I and do know and hold to heart that He’s always right on time dearie!.
Happy New Month folks. It’s a blessed month for us all by His Grace. Hugs.ππππ
