Smile.. I was at work on a sunny afternoon and as the norm is for us to ask questions from our intending customers in a case when we are helping out to fill their forms. An elderly woman walked in with her daughter to our office as the daughter was meant to be like a mediator for her since she didn’t understand English while the daughter did to an extent. It got to the time I needed to make enquiries from the daughter as well regarding her age and when she did, It struck some thoughts within me and I had to look up again as this young lady was actually the same age as I was; just that I was few months ahead of her. Now the recalling moment wasn’t just in us being of the age bracket but because I was in a place or position that to her she might have thought I was way older and all to have been there (as she was referring to me as “ma”). But all I could voice out even till evening while I was on my way home was God! You did it. Not that I’m most qualified but because you did!.

And so many times, it happens to be that I’m in a gathering of older folks and I’m like – God, I’m the youngest here!. But then He reminds me of Him being there with me. I will always say and won’t get tired of saying this – I am what I am today cos of God. Not that I am intelligent, more outspoken, knowledgeable or even a great reader as the believe is, that great readers are people of great and vast knowledge. Even in times when I’m to speak and I get to say some things I’m amazed at myself as well. And I can’t count or mention the comments I get to have on this and all. But all in summary is I am where I am cos God made it be.

Yes darling, God made it be. And as many that are reading this and you are wondering why it seems you are more privileged or as the case may be. It’s not because you are doing anything much better or that you are steady at your growth and grooming and all. It’s because Grace found you and He’s speaking.

Yay! 💃. Grace found us all. So, we not to boast but to be grateful at all times. Recalling where you might have been, sacrifices you have long made is good but in it all, remember that God has counted you worthy and qualified you for His goodness and that is what matters most. And if you are reading this as well and it seems – God!, why ain’t you blessing me or why does it seem Mr A’s prayers are being answered and mine isn’t?. You can be rest assured that God is preparing you for a much greater destination and place. The race is never to the Swift nor the battle to the Strong but of time and Chance. Of which, Time belongs or I’ll say it’s all in the hands of our faithful and ever loving Hero and father. So my dear, let the process unto the latter blessed days continue, and be rest assured of His goodness to keep you through it, till you break forth into your greater glory.

Therefore, the message is – that which you enjoy and you’re enjoying in Him, which is – His Grace, isn’t for you to make a boast of yourself but to give all the accolade and praises unto Him. Knowing that you are who and what others proclaim of you and praise you for, because He made it so.

** I didn’t deserve any better by my doings or works but your Grace found me!.
** Thank you Father for your Grace superseding it all.
** Thank you for the Grace of You in me.
