Have you ever watched a baby wrapped in, in his or her mother’s arms. The baby is calm; feels safe and assured he or she won’t be harmed. The sense of security that so far I am in her arms, nothing evil or harm will be allowed near me.

So also the place of God in our lives. We get to the stage that we know – “though we walk through the deep waters, He is right there with me!”. We are no longer pacified but we know assuredly that – “we are safe in His arms”.

I don’t know how your childhood days might have been. Some might have had it all sweet and perfect with all intact. While for some, otherwise was the case. A lot of folks ended up with a bad memory of their childhood. And it keeps haunting them. They live with so much fear, that it keeps them in their own shell and hideout. All they wanna do is to keep to their self. As they feel they can only be safe as long as they limit a lot of interactions. A lot had been broken and they have lost all sense of courage to push ahead and move on.

I don’t know which of this category is yours. But I know this message is for you. You are safe in your father’s arms. The father in reference to here, is not the earthly father – No!. But the father above all fathers. The God above all others. He who knew us before we were ever formed and conceived. He who made a way even before we could take our first steps as He had always had good plans for you and still do. It’s amazing how much we rely on gods and earthen individuals for the safety we can only experience to its fullest in God. We were not made to be dependent on human or other created. We were made like unto God to be dependent on God.

I remember early in the year 2018, I had an experience that caged me in fear. Anytime after 6pm or while it gets dark in the evening, the fear just creeps in. I picture the whole event again and I start fidgeting. It gets worse even at times, although I knew deep within me that God was real. So I had to tell myself daily – He who saved you from it being worse than it was, is far able to keep your life safe and intact always. I chose God’s words for me. I chose to hold on to them. I spoke those words and though the fearsome days still came lurking in, I chose His words rather than the situations. I reminded myself that I am never alone. It took a while but I can look back at the whole experience as several months rolled by and all I see is Victory. Hallelujah. We have Grace my dear, we have God!. The ageless and ever loving father.

My dear reader, God is real. You might not have an earthly father to model what it means to care or your mother might have been out of the picture of your life since the day 1 of your existence or even along the years of growing up. But I have been prompted to tell you – “You have never been alone!”. Right through your first baby step, to walking and leaping, and then running and doings, He was ever watching and guarding you. So many evil have happened but it never overcame you. But instead He allowed the reverse of this evil happenings the case and to your testimony.

Our God is ever endearing, He is amazingly wonderful. I can’t tell you the countless dealings He has led me through. But I believe He who has been for me and you all this years, would work all things out for our greater good even as the years pass by.

So let go of your fears and worries. Quit looking up to man and stay in God. Only in Him, can your safety be secured – 100% (whether it be night or day). As He never slumbers nor sleeps nor doze off. He is just that amazing in it (fatherhood and parenting). 🙌💕
