I was reading the book “Living courageously” authored by Joyce Meyer. And it shared many of the fears man permits to limit us and things we come across each day that we have lost our control to. But then the blessing and the light the book sheds is that we do it afraid anyway. Knowing God never brings our way anything that will limit us or block our view of that which He has prepared for us as His elect/called.

You might be facing some crucial decision making right now and all you can see is the limitation in it or your inadequacies to handle it right, even though God is expressly telling you to take the bull by the horn and go for it. Whatever it might be dear reader, do it afraid!. Don’t let those phobias limit you. They are only illusions the enemy creates in your mind to make you see less and to lose sight of that which lies ahead for you in God. And a man whose vision has been blurred or blinded is as good as lost and might end up never leaving a spot or moving in circles.

So my admonition is that “you go for it”, as you would never know if you will be successful at it without you trying at all. Your Success is not far, if only you will believe God’s words above your fears and just do it anyways!.

There was this story she shared; of a man who prayed to God “God lead me to whom i can share my faith with today” and God answered his prayer. As he met with an husky fella in the bus he boarded; who was all in tears and just kept saying “who will lead me to Christ” and so on. You want to know what the man still did?. He still had to pray to God “show me a sign if this is it Lord!” Laugh much i must say. 😂

That is a typical example of most of us; as we mostly claim we are Christians but we have lost our savour and salt that people still ask you “are you a Christian?”. Oh my God, if you are still being asked that something is up somewhere and there is fire on the mountain. Christ called us salt and light. Even if a smidge amount of salt is put in a cooked meal, it will still be felt. Likewise a light: no matter how dark a room is, it dispels it.

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

So my dear friend, have you been so afraid to stand up for your faith in God because you want to feel among, start now and do it afraid anyway!. Start representing Him well. Let God be glorified through you, as we put to mind that He said if we don’t glorify Him, He will instead raise up stones. That beats me hands down. Don’t let the time run out on you. 🙇

Do it afraid friend, whatever that decision is that you are certain God is leading you to. 🙌

Let the world call you insane, there is nothing worth sacrificing His great love for. Nothing!. Remembering He (Jesus) was called crazy too and even mocked but what happened afterwards?. He is so highly exalted that all kneels bow and tongues confess to His name (note that, just His name commands such great authority 🔥). Yes!, even the unbelievers tend to mention His name subconsciously when they are faced with some problems, you will be shocked. 💃 But it happened of a truth and will still happen no doubt. God highly exalted Him because He didn’t sell His birthright for a mere plate of pottage (fame, class – even when they gave Him the title – The King of the Jews). Don’t lose sight of who you are dear friend.

God is calling you to harken to His call today – Do it afraid with me!. And while you make that decision today ponder on this:

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].
