On one of the evenings sometime ago, I was on my hyper thinking mode: from the whys, to how the days to come will be like, to all I needed to do, etc. Truthfully, I was yet to fully comprehend the many questions all at once. But the peace I got while reading through one of the books of Joyce Meyer, “Living courageously”; as it helped cascade hope to my sunken heart, is simply amazing and timely. I had a pretty much not too great a day, with many thoughts streaming through my mind. Yeah, and at some point I asked God to help me think less. I eventually resorted to sleeping and good enough I was able to effortlessly.
I woke up back to reality though, as my supposed let off thoughts came back to play. Not to bore you with too much details though. ☺ It felt a lot better knowing God is ever in care of all that concerns our wellbeing even without us asking or naming it. He knows much more than our lips can ever mutter out in prayers to Him.
Do read the verse below; as it was part of the verses that ministered to me.
Now when these things begin to occur, stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because [suffering ends as] your redemption is drawing near.”
LUKE 21:28 (AMP)
It’s graceful and relieving to know that despite it all, God’s arms is mightier than anything else that can ever cross our paths. He is our redemption and our perfect pitcher in the scoring zone of life folks.
It might seem not too great a season with all that is happening, and in fact, it might not even seem close to being one of the good days at all. But in spite of all these, we have Christ who is and will forever be our victory flag. So let’s hold on to Him even as we hoist in advance (seeing past the situations) this flag of victory we have in Him. And don’t let that illusion of a bad time, weigh you down. You are a conqueror in Him pal! (Romans 8:37).
Raise your head up, don’t relent in your goodwill and tarry more in Him. Let your worries, cares and anticipations bring you continually before Him. He is your “all and more” in every time and season.
Do read this:
“casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”
1 PETER 5:7 (AMP)
Can you then see that you are not alone; have never been and would never be alone?.
Look beyond your trying times. There is glory ahead and you need your eyes set up to access it. Let that goal/plan spur you to look upward and stay glued with God. He’s all you can ever need to achieve all your goals in life.
PRAYERS:
– May we choose to stay focused and not lose sight of the glory ahead of us Abba.
– May our hearts be full of gratitude because we know that you will always harken to our call.
Thank you God. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Do have a splendid week. 🙌💥
