As I lay in bed; getting set to sleep, I can’t help the depth of gratitude to God that I feel within me right now.

A couple of nights ago was a terrible night for me. I had planned to go to bed early as I had been feeling a bit under the weather since morning and I tried forcing myself to munch on my supposed made up dinner (as I lost my appetite as well), which I left unfinished. Being hopeful that I would feel better, I managed to distract myself by watching the movie I saved offline on YouTube but unlike me, I was so glad it ended already. 😧 As I really wanted to get to sleep so as to get off the odd feeling and weakness I felt in my body.

Minutes turned into hours and I got woken from my nap, with a bad stomach ache. It progressed as I had to wake up a couple of times afterward; I lost count of it. I couldn’t even bear laying on the bed. As my stomach ached me badly, I had to lay sideways on the floor, resting only my head on the bed. I kept praying till I sleep off anytime the ache woke me up.

I didn’t want to use any drug; Didn’t want to wake up anyone too. I just had a stubborn faith. I can’t believe I went through that pain. 🙈 Really, looking back at the whole incidence is really a miracle for me. At some point, I even nursed the thought that the ulcer I know He has healed me of some years back, came back in a ripple effect. But He reminded me of His word and though I still felt the pain, I chose to claim His truth that it wasn’t what it seemed as.

The next morning, I had to cancel a trip I had planned embarking on to garner my strength and recuperate. And gracefully, the pain lessened gradually till I was alleviated of it. 💃After the pain was over, I had to battle getting back to my eating mode as well. And it took several hours to get back to a convenient state of eating to a reasonable extent. As all, I could trust my stomach with was water, which wasn’t even complete trust. If you know what I mean. 😂

But yeah, to cut the long story shorter because I have almost finished sharing the long story. 🙈 God healed me! 💃
It took me a while of choosing and asking for help from Him to see past the ache and hold on to His words instead. It was really one of those nights!. 🙇

So I got spurred to share with you this hurting experience for a graceful reason. So yeah, you could be hurting badly at the moment. And not even the words you have heard Him speak to your hearing before now seems to be calming you down in any way or relieving you of the burden you feel within you. But the good news is, though the healing could be taking longer than the previous times, it will surely come through. I remember at some point I had to start reading the Bible to my stomach. It took me some strange acts, I’m still in awe of the whole experience really!.

Your most awaited and expected miracle will definitely come through. If you don’t get weary and neglect the word of God for you. Times when it hurts the most, the devil loves taking advantage of it. I had to battle those thoughts and it was a battle for me – a real one!. But He helped me through it. Sometimes all He needs to see is your radicalism: as you choose God’s truth above any lie the enemy is bringing your way.
