๐Ÿ’ฎ๐Ÿ‘ฅ THEIR STORY – NOT MY STORY ๐Ÿ‘ค๐ŸŒธ

I was seated, watching this movie that made me cry almost all through the movie, titled “Breakthrough”. Funny how it came when my emotional side was on a steep. And I just had this sense of “this is the movie for me” at that time. Yeah, the man (the father of the hospitalized boy), was talking to his pastor and he replied the pastor with “based on my research, a hundred of those with his case, don’t survive it”, while they were discussing on if the boy (his son) would survive and recover, despite all the medical prognosis, that his son wouldn’t survive the trauma.

Then I remembered the usual quote that I sometimes mention to folks while talking with them but mostly to myself, which is “my story is not their story”. Yes, my story is not anyone else. So also your dear reader, your story isn’t anyone else.

Because they didn’t survive the same troubles you are presently facing doesn’t mean you wouldn’t. Because that charge seems like the norm in such a scenario that is coherent to yours, it doesn’t mean it will be the same verdict for you.

I practically watched another scene of God’s mercy shows up. Truth be told, I cried most of my watching mode, because it came at a point I was being stared in the face with so much “crossroads” with evident “how do I go past this”. And though I prayed, and already found peace. But my teary self won’t let me, while I watched the movie. ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Sighs. โ˜บ Such a goodly reminder that God’s purpose and intentions for us can never be debarred no matter what!.

So yeah, your sibling’s story isn’t yours; your parent’s story isn’t yours; your best friend’s story isn’t yours; neither is your twin’s story yours. We all have our independent; unique; peculiar scripts before God which are in His care.

Breathe through all this. We are so more than conquerors!. ๐Ÿ’ƒ

CONFESSION: ๐Ÿ—ฃ

My story – not their story
Your story – not my story
Their prognosis – not my prognosis
My Script is divinely guided and preserved

God indeed Always! Always! shows up!.

Need I mention, the boy came back alive in some hours (a few days). Despite all the horrible prognosis the resident doctors and even experts in the field earlier stated.
God showed up!.๐Ÿ’ƒ

You can watch the movie, you would surely understand better the gist. ๐Ÿ˜˜

When God wants to break us through, He pulls out all clogs and His presence alone uproots and clears out ALL obstacles to all He has in mind to do!. He is so UNSTOPPABLE when it comes to our lives in Him. He is a responsible God with a commitment to us!.

“Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.”

My story is not their story. And as big brother Matt said, God is in control of my story. We don’t have to compare our lives with other people’s lives. God has created us with big plans. And He will always fulfil His promisesโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ.

  4. “Whose report will you believe”?

Kenneth E Hagin always says “God said it, I believe, and so it is, regardless of the facts”.

Faith is not living in denial. It’s to rest on God’s promises concerning a situation and hold on to it till there is a desired outcome.

  5. Amen! I watched that movie. I was particularly moved by the fact that it was based on a true event. That momma refused to let her boy die. Radical faith, grace, and mercy at work. Did you notice how things got even better when she stopped being self-righteous and forgave those who spoke negative words about the situation?! That was a key message.

      It’s challenging and encouraging.

Yeah. Letting go and letting God!.

Truly when we let Him we then find peace! That surpasses even our own understanding.
