🌻🍁 PERSPECTIVE 👀🕵

On a particular evening, I was seated getting some things done on my phone. After a while, I got tired of sitting up as my back ached from the day’s journey.

I then made a repositioning so that I could lay down instead of sitting up. The graceful feeling of “finally, this back sure deserves some rest” came to mind in the process. 🙈 But then I didn’t make a full turn that will enable me to stretch my legs properly. Because of that, I resorted to leaning my legs against the wall.

Guess what, as soon as I did that, I had a flashback, of the good ole high school days. Geez! So many superstitions we were fed with and some I ignorant believed. This was one of them “don’t put your legs on the wall, it’s only a witch that takes such a position”. 😂 Now before you start raising an eyebrow, I didn’t attend just anyhow secondary school o. 🙈 It was even a seminary school but sadly, ignorance dwells everywhere. Gracefully, it takes just a light to glow into our ignorance and the whole thing fades away.

So yes, when I had the recall, I smiled and couldn’t help but shake my head. Thank God for Jesus. 🤗 If we are in Christ, we are new creatures indeed, old ways become old ways and bygone becomes bygone!. Another addition is: “…….. ignorance is laid off and wisdom/awareness of one’s spiritual rights comes to play”. Praise God!. We no longer live by superstitious beliefs and lies framed by the enemy to bind us, wrap us up and sniff the God giving life (God’s freedom) out of us. We are free indeed!. Oh my, such a blessing. 💃🆓

So yes, I can stretch my leg on the wall with so much calm and ease of mind now. 😉

I am indeed grateful for salvation. Really if you ain’t in Christ, you are missing out a lot. Emphasis on the “lot”. When I genuinely gave my life to Christ while I was in University. Whenever some folks shared the testimony of their faith walk with God, I am like “is this even real or was it fabricated”. More like a spice up? 🙄

But then, the faith walk began for me. Oh my, God is real and faith is crazy!!!!!. So not in the human reasoning or world defined zone!. It’s so out of here.

Perspective!. Yeah, I didn’t forget that word. 😂

It’s just a reminder or a call back for us to be free indeed, even as we begin seeing life through God’s eyes!. 🕵👁 Lose those age-long chains off your neck and let God’s freedom be activated in your life, just as He has freely given it unto us in Christ Jesus!.

We are free indeed!. I’m so excited really. The devil should lose his mind. 💃
Dear reader – we are free!!!!!. Glory!.

To you reading this and still playing “on the surface walk” please plunge in!. It pays to plunge into His deep as His deep yearn for us!.

Deep calls to deep at the [thundering] sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.

PSALMS 42:7 (AMP)

Yes, perspective: whose perspective of life have we chosen to see through – God’s own view via His words (the Bible) or the world’s? 🤔

We are free indeed because of the blessing of salvation that we have in Christ Jesus.

Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, everyone who practices sin habitually is a slave of sin. Now the slave does not remain in a household forever; the son [of the master] does remain forever. So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.

JOHN 8:34‭-‬36 (AMP)

Accept that invitation also today. Accept Christ and make Him your lead being. 🙌

God is just a darling!. The only priceless treasure we have in life!. In Him, we have ——- Freedom!!!!! 🔥

Have a great new week. ❤

What perspective are we choosing? God’s or our own. Such a good reminder to check how we are viewing our lives. Life has definitely been great since I really dove into a relationship with Jesus. I hope many are inspired by your words to dive into life with Him.

    1. Perspective is a funny thing. If it is skewed to the left or the right, we can feel off kilter & make less then good decisions; but if we use His word to guide our lives the perspective is much better.

We do need to see things through the perspective of Christ to truly live. In Him is true freedom! The world views freedom as following your feelings and doing whatever you want. But Jesus gives us the freedom to live apart from worldly pleasures and sin. Thanks little sister! This was helpful. 💕

  5. Mayne! A lot of superstitious beliefs still hold people captive. I spent 12 years of my life in one of those white garment churches. Leaning against the wall means one is trying to teleport or something. Haaa.
Thank God for grace and freedom.

  8. What more can I say.. I’m blessed Sis. The world has it’s own perspective by which it see and judge things, but (Col.2.8 – Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.)

…because we don’t belong to the world but to God, we can’t afford to do things their way.

We have an incorruptible, holy view and judgment in/through Christ Jesus… Hallelujah. I am glad I belong to Jesus.

    Thanks for sharing.
