๐Ÿ’ฎ๐ŸŒฟ SOWING AND REAPING ๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿ’ฎ

Sowing and reaping yeah?. Yes, it is. When we look at the life of a farmer or a planter, he or she makes an effort to sow his or her seeds in good and fertile soil. He or she then awaits its growth or sprouting, as some seeds take a longer time when compared to another. And in all this, the planter or farmer still continues watering and caring for it, no matter how long the seed takes to sprout and grow out of the soil it was buried in.

Many of us likewise are like these seeds. Some grow out faster than another and another a while later than the other. But I want you to know whichever category you may be in, God’s ultimate plan for us all still remains:

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,โ€™ says the Lord, โ€˜plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you.

Jeremiah 29:11โ€ญ-โ€ฌ12 (AMP)

Did you read that?. His thoughts for us (you and I) are still of good, that will bring us into His future and hope for us all. Also, He hears us!. So just because your timing seems to be prolonged or the period of you actualizing something seems a little longer than your friend or anyone else, doesn’t imply that He stopped listening to you or giving you that attention He has promised us He would.

Brace up, rejoice and see the blessing in this instead. As a seed is being sown and there certainly is reaping, so also you will not only blossom but likewise, grow into abundance and you will be a legacy for generations to come.

While we hold on to this then, we should be mindful of the seed we likewise produce. That is birth forth.

Is it good or bad seeds?. At harvest time, we come across the well-grown plants and some others who may have been attacked by pests, etc. and hence didn’t grow well (reach their full potential) or some who didn’t even grow at all (became redundant and died off in the process).

Which of these would you wanna be?.

Would it be the seed that grows and yield its abundance of good fruits or that which made it halfway or even that which didn’t make it at all?

This season in our lives, in our world today is crucial and I must say again – it is very crucial. Don’t let us waste away but redeem the time and grow with Grace. Be watchful, vigilant and most importantly – Blossom gracefully, that you produce good fruits for God’s kingdom to be established here on earth.

God bless you.

Meditate on this verse:

So teach us to number our days, That we may cultivate and bring to You a heart of wisdom.

Psalms 90:12 (AMP)

Stay Safe and Stay Connected!. Jesus saves and He alone restores!.

  1. There are so many lessons to learn about reaping & sowing. I seem to gravitate to these verses in spring & fall. It is good to realize that we can be all of the “characters” in this story at different points in our lives…even the weeds.

True sis. We are in different places in our walk with the Lord. This makes me remember the verse in Philippians 3:16, โ€œOnly let us live up to what we have already attained.โ€ As God reaches us we should apply what we learn and continue to grow in Him and learn even more.

  6. First, I’m greatful to God to be a seed, not just any but one planted by God himself in a time like this… Yet, to be sincere, sprouting & budding or what I would call living out the life of Christ has not been easy either..

But you know… I know who my planter is… And He did planted me for a purpose just like was stated in Jere29:11. So, I need not fear, just keep growing and blossoming just like my sister says.

Just to add, your development might not seem like its adding up, but it is, just keep at it

    Thanks for sharing sis…I’m blessed.

We go through spiritual seasons of life just like the earth goes through different seasons. Spring, Fall or Winter…My favorite season is winter! I love the cold and being a coffee drinker Winter is the best season to drink it. Here in Houston our seasons can be confusing. We can go from hot temperatures in the 90′ s one day then drop back down to the 40’s the next with rain. We say, we have bipolar weather. What if our favorite season lasted year round? What if there was only one season? God knew what He was doing when He created the different seasons. The earth needs each of them, and we need different season in our lives too.

AMEN, sweet sis! I love this post so much and most importantly, I love your heart in sharing it!

You’re absolutely right – we must be mindful of the seeds we have planted and how we care for them. How much of a harvest we receive really is on us. My husband and I have a plant nursery so the concept of sowing and reaping has very much been on my mind as of late! I’m grateful you chose it as your topic. It is one we should be reminded of daily in our walks with the Lord.

I also agree with you – now more than ever, it is crucial we keep our eyes locked on our Lord. There is madness all around but He is still the miracle working God who calms the storm and comforts the weary. He will do that for us if we let Him in.

Thank you for this wonderful reminder dear sis. You are loved, God’s plans for you are beyond what you could imagine and you are so very special! All my love to you! ๐Ÿค—

  14. Remind me of Habakkuk 2:3 โ€œFor the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hasteth toward the end, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.โ€
    โ€ญโ€ญ
Once heard a man of God preach how a disciplined farmer still plants a seed even when the last season didnโ€™t germinate. Because when itโ€™s finally the season of growth…a seed is needed for growth.
His plans for us are always good…we must always remember that even when it seems like our seed isnโ€™t growing.
    Blessings to you.
