🔳 🌸 PEACE 🍀💠

I strongly believe we need this more than ever in our lives, families, nation and the world at large. We are in a time where the bubbles are really bursting and there is a true revelation of our contents. I read a blog post on some of the challenges in some homes at the moment. It has been a true test of how solid/grounded these homes really are.

Some of these folks are those who literarily had little time to spend at home due to the nature of their jobs, businesses, etc. But with the current shut down, the real content of what their marriages really is has come to full display. Also, you get to read posts and comments of some folks waiting for this to end already. And some just waiting for this to be over with, so they can get a divorce. It’s sad how things can turn out to be if we leave it unguarded for a long time yeah.

Another scenario is having to know that there is even something called Claustrophobia i.e. fear of restriction (paraphrased). It’s rather strange but then it is true. I saw a funny status update recently too. It stated, “check on your friends who are travel lovers if they are okay” (paraphrased). As funny as that sounds, someone might actually be struggling with that for real. There have been so many things put on display on social media at this time. But when I look at it, it makes me really ask myself “are we really maintaining peace and calm in all this” or are we all lost in, just letting this time pass by already. Sighs

For me, this has been pretty unexpected and on some days I just find it hard to wrap my head around how we got here all of a sudden – the mandatory isolation and shut down. You know some folks before now, loved their jobs so much, they hardly took time off. But with the current pandemic, we all had to take a break gracefully. 😁

But in it all, I want us to remember this text which was what came to mind before I wrote this writeup And has been recalling in my heart for a while now.

The verse is:

Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

John 14:27 (AMP)

If there is anything I would love us to hold on to in this passing phase. I call it a passing phase because I know someday it will end and it will become history. But what will sustain us through this phase is His Peace.

Yes, it’s His peace that will sustain us and nothing else. When the children of Israel came face to face with the Red sea, even when they knew Pharaoh and his men were also on a chase for them. It was the posture of peace (Stillness; Calmness; Trust in God) that led them into their victory. Moses had to remind them (the Israelites) of this. And it was after this, God told Moses what to do and yes He came through for them! (Exodus 14: 28-31; AMP)

Do read these verses:

Vs 14: The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.”

Vs 15: The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to move forward [toward the sea].

Vs 16: As for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the sons of Israel may go through the middle of the sea on dry land.

Exodus 14:14‭-‬16 (AMP)

There is so much to glean from in Exodus 14. Do read the entire chapter and preceding chapters for better understanding at your leisure. 🤗

We need His peace and we can only find this peace in Christ Jesus. It’s a call for us, to receive this invitation even as we celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ in this Easter season. Let’s open up to Him and bid Him in, even as He has been long before now knocking on the door of our hearts (Revelations 3:20). Allow Him entry into your heart, every compartment, and facet of our lives. Only in Him do we have Peace. (Matthew 11:28) 🙌

So while we get busy trying to get past this time. And we being involved in one challenge or the other. It’s my challenge to us today that we should maintain Peace; Calmness; Stillness and watch how God will act in return for our obedience to maintain Peace in Him.

It’s a call back home for us and I do pray that we sincerely maintain this calm He is beckoning on our heart to bear. Amen.

HAPPY EASTER. ❤

God is in everyone and everything, after the winter comes the spring ,
The bells of joy  start to ring ,
Rebirth of livelihood is a wonderful  thing ,

The divine is here , there and everywhere,
For all of us , God would care ,
Dare to believe that life is fair ,

In the darkness of the night,
    Stars could be shining bright,
The moonlight shows  up on sight ,
Being from the divine light ,
    Things are marvelous  and white,
With God , by your side , nothing to fear and nothing to fright,
Gather in love and with the almighty God unite ,
    Our powers we gather and
May almighty God ,  the warm flames of justice and love in the world ignite

The peace of God is priceless. Knowing He is with us and that He is in control gives me great peace. You brought up an interesting fact about relationships. I’m sure many who don’t have good relationships with family are struggling during this time. Hopefully there will be healing and relationships will get better. Thanks little sister. 🤗❤️
