πŸ’ πŸ”² ** WHILE WAITING ** βΈπŸ”³

Often times we are so much in a hurry to get answers from God regarding certain decisions of our lives forgetting that in some instances He just wants you to wait on Him. This is not because He is being wicked or He does not see the urgency in it.

Rather I have come to understand that while we are waiting on Him and awaiting His answer, We are being renewed and equipped for the answers we are seeking.

You would ask me “how is that even the case”?. “Isn’t it the Bible that stated – a hope deferred makes the heart sick”?

Yes, it did state that, but then His word (the Bible) also stated in Isaiah this:

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP)

I am here to tell you that the waiting period you are going through right now, is not to your detriment. But rather to your renewing. He wants to make of you a fine woman; a fine man. A man who will bear Him to the uttermost parts of the earth with Grace. A woman who will not just represent Him with Grace but also bears an aura, that no one comes in contact with you without catching the fire that reignites their fellowship life with God.

It’s a call to us today, to allow the process of our waiting on God, make us and not break us. It’s a call for us to come to know that regardless of how quick or slow it seems when we seek for answers or intervention from God, God’s intention still suffices. Which is, He has a good plan for our individual lives, and this He has ordained before time ever come to be.

It’s in the process of our waiting on Him, that we have encountered and we indeed exude the strength we never knew we bore. For example, the men and women of faith in the Bible which we now learn from their life experiences. Men like Abraham, while He waited for the promised child; David, who God used to defeat the great Goliath though he was a shepherd boy at that time before he eventually became the King of Israel. Women like Elizabeth, who had a long wait for the fruit of the womb and eventually gave birth to John the Baptist (Jesus’ forerunner). Also the men of God we look up to in our present age, all had their seasons of waiting. But then, although the duration of our wait differs from one person to another, it’s all intended for one aim, which is ” for a greater good!”.

Let’s read these stated verses: πŸ‘‡

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, β€˜plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

AND,

But just as it is written [in Scripture], β€œThings which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].”

1 Corinthians 2:9 (AMP)

He is seeking us today, to find the Grace He is releasing to us even while we wait on Him in our respective waiting seasons and let it work in us the greater good He desires – A future and a hope. A hope that isn’t just for you but for generations that will come through you – Isaiah 60:15b.

Do have a great day ahead. πŸ€—

Such an important point you make!
This: “Rather I have come to understand that while we are waiting on Him and awaiting His answer, We are being renewed and equipped for the answers we are seeking.”
God has a purpose for everything. Not that we must understand His purposes all the time, but it surely helps us to wait if we can get some kind of understanding WHY. 😊

Sometimes the waiting is because the circumstances are not ready yet or the people who will be involved are not ready.

Yes, it can be a difficult thing to do, but focusing on Him makes it easier. Like this song I love “You are my strength, strength like no other, strength like no other, reached out to me”. We indeed find strength to continue in Him.

  13. Thanks sis…. The truth is with God, there’s always something to wait for. Just during this lockdown period I woke up with a serious burden to seek God on few issues in my life that needed me to make a choice. Sincerely I sought God still, but I didn’t get a word on any of those, or let me say, I didn’t hear what I wanted. God raised several other issues more important in His heart and the burden became light… And Here I am still waiting…

I’m blessed, thanks once again for sharing.

Smiles. This seems like my current self. The good part is when we choose to allow Him to have His way and fit it all in His own way and pace, we will surely have rest. I’m learning too and yeah I am in a big wait myself. Thankfully we can look up to Him for strength and courage every time we feel down and getting worrisome about when the answer would come forth.

Smiles. Thank you for sharing your experience too. It’s encouraging to know that we are all keeping the faith alive and He will come through for us.
      Blessings. Be good!. πŸ€—πŸ€—
