MY THOUGHTS:

I recall a particular situation I found myself in. And I can’t help but think that most of the time, we paint a limiting picture of ourselves, which often time isn’t the truth about us.
MY EXPERIENCE:
Okay, let me share the latest experience of mine with you. I am the type that visits the toilet frequently to urinate. But on this particular day, I couldn’t so I had no other option than to hold it in. 😕
MY REACTION:
Can you imagine my first reaction to this dilemma, I really struggled with the “pressed” feeling if you know what I mean. 😂 But then I knew I had no other option than to hold it in so I did. Hoping it will be for a short time.
Minutes turned to hours and I was still able to. I am surprised myself, judging from my initial feeling of “I can’t hold this in any longer, I have to use the toilet now”. 😓 And the most perplexing is that this time around, I feel less “pressed” and I was still able to continue with what I needed to do. 💃
That is just a minor share of some things I would have initially thought to myself that I can’t make it through. Some times I would even struggle with thoughts like “God this feels choking, can I get through this at all?” and guess what I get through it. And whenever I remember such times, I smile because if I had been told I would get through it initially, I wouldn’t have believed.
OUR THOUGHTS:
It’s funny how often we tell ourselves “this is all to me” when that is only a lie we have chosen to believe because we have so much more on our inside.
GOD’S WORDS TO US:
Just the same way they told Jesus “Isn’t he the carpenter’s son” etc. but Jesus knew His physical family or background or situation wasn’t His true identity. And that He had a bigger and greater identity!. And what is that identity?, He is “The son of God”. I feel like dancing right now because this same identity is ours as well; regardless of our family background or lineage. We have a bigger identity and that is, we are “Sons and daughters of God”!

And for us to bear this identity, we need to belong to His family, and to be a part of that, you need to accept Jesus. ❕

OUR REACTION TO THIS TRUTH
Are you leaping for joy too?.
Yes, we have a great source of strength in us and it’s inexhaustible. Because Jesus and the Father are one:
So do you now believe that He is the strength at work in you and your capacity?. And you no longer walk in your own human strength because you have put on Christ and your life is in His:
So, therefore, rejoice!
Do read the verse stated below meditatively.
Jesus is calling out to you. Would you heed his call?
Also, remember Jesus is still calling you into this fullness of living, would you receive Him today?. Make your confessions known to Him in faith.

When we limit ourselves we limit God operation in our lives. We must take the limits off ourselves and let the supernatural power of His word work for us.

I’m thankful that we are part of God’s family. Our identity is in Christ. Regardless of obstacles that may try and hinder us, through our Savior we can overcome and be who God created us to be. Thanks little sister, this is encouraging. 💕

Love this so much! Us limiting ourselves is us limiting God’s purpose in us. Something I do struggle with often because of self-doubt, so this is definitely a great reminder!
