Have you ever met with someone and it feels like the first five to ten minutes you spent with them revealed a lot about them?. Beyond the little time frame, you had spent with them.
I will be sharing a side gist or experience on this. 😊
I was on my way to work on a Friday morning and I boarded a Tricycle to my next bus stop so that I can get a bus going to the location I was headed to. As I stepped into this Tricycle, all I could hear was the driver’s loud music which was so not my kind of music but I decided not to pay much attention to it and just rather asked him to tone it down. And thankfully he did. While in transit I couldn’t help but gaze around the inside part of his tricycle and there I saw different stickers, of some Nigerian artists, and this in some way told me a bit more about his taste in music.
I know we have had such moments too. This was my most recent experience, hence the reason why I shared it.
What would others perceive of you when they get to meet with you?. What kind of person would you say you are?. If someone interacted with you for some minutes, what report would they give about you?.
Would they be surprised to see the lady or man who calls herself or himself a Christian hauling out all shades of insult on another person?. Would they find rest and God’s kind of love in their interactions with you? Or would you be one to change their mind on what Christianity is, because you are so not modeling it, the Christ’s way at all?.
It’s a call back for us to check and have a review of ourselves; of our lives. What do you exude as a Christian?. What do you exude as a child of God?.
Yes, you profess you are one. But do your actions align with this or it speaks a whole lot of difference from what it ought to be?.
I pray that His word will birth His life in us and cause our hearts to choose His kind of life. And also exude His kind of life. His Zoe. 🙌
For through the Law I died to the Law and its demands on me [because salvation is provided through the death and resurrection of Christ], so that I might [from now on] live to God. I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him, I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
Galatians 2:19-20 AMP
We are no longer living for ourselves. We ought to live as unto Him, so that wherever we are and in us, others would find Christ therein. And hence decide to also live for Him.

interesting experience and read…it shows there are a number of ways people can read our auras and what we are about…if we are not careful, we could be caught unawares… when I was younger, although I professed Christ, I could change within a second and radiate something that’s ungodly or a bit of it… I am much more in control now but still pray to be firmer

These are some great questions that you have asked – and I think that if everyone truly considered them, there’d be a lot less hate in the world. Too many people these days claim to follow Jesus yet are part of the problem when it comes to hate in this world.

Thanks little sister for these thought provoking questions. We do need to examine ourselves and be mindful of how we are perceived as Christians. Our actions should draw others to Jesus. This is excellent. When I am posting something on social media, I have to think three times before posting. I have been ready to post and I can hear in my spirit God saying no. God has the final say.
