🌟 WHAT FLOWS OUT OF YOU ❔

Flows out

Thinking about who we are as God’s children and His seeds. We are admonished to spread forth the aura of Christ. A seed sprouts out the potentials that lie in the content embedded on its inside. And that is why a Mango seed can only sprout and grow to be a Mango tree in the long haul.

Our study text:

Let the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mindβ€”permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Colossians 3:16 AMP

Paul in the above-referenced text is stating here, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in him, the need for us to allow God’s word to have its home in our heart. And it in turn affects how we react and what we do unto others.

Do you desire to teach and encourage other lives?. You can only do that by the sufficiency of the word of God in you.

  • How often do you study His words?
  • Do you have a listening ear to His words and leading?

I want us to picture a jar of oil, that is constantly in use. If there is no refill at some point, it will eventually be exhausted. This was what happened to the five foolish virgins. That when it was time to meet with the bridegroom, they no longer had enough oil.

Jar of oil - source

Let your preparedness meet with the opportunities God will be bringing your way. By staying up to date with His words for you and dwelling in it. You can only maximize the opportunities God has placed in your care and will bring your way when you are prepared and properly positioned!

Preparedness - opportunity

  • How prepared are you?
  • What is flowing out of you?
  • Are you eating His word, sufficiently?

These are questions we need to ask ourselves. I pray that His Word will shed more light on this, in our hearts. (Amen) πŸ™

Wishing you a fulfilling new week in Him. πŸ™Œ

Your questions to us reminded me of Psalm 119:11 that tells us to hide God’s Word in our hearts so we will not sin against him. What we put into our hearts will be evident through our actions and the words we speak. Thank you little sister for the encouraging reminder. 🍁❀️🍁

As Christians, we need to be more practical, so many Christians read the bible and fail to digest the word properly, as a result they end up bitter, instead of understanding, we judge.

  17. It’s all about hunger, being hungry to continually feast upon God’s Word isn’t it…but also to live out His Word in the everyday places which gives the greatest witness. People notice our lives in everyday interactions. How we cope, how we act, react & make our choices.

Love your choice of scripture for study! I’ve always been taught the word of God has more power to change hearts than anything else. And I’ve seen it to be true. I think it’s because we learn by example. And when we are in the Word, we tend to be more aligned with the example we want to set and the mark we want to leave. Thanks for sharing, sis!
