Haven’t we all at different times in our lives been faced with situations that left us beckoning on God for His kind of resolve?
We all have at certain times sought for His will or counsel about different areas of our lives. And also concerning the decisions we needed to make.
Personally, I’ve had a lot of this and I have come to know it’s best to look upward (to God) instead of the odds around me (downwards).
What has He told you?.
What is He teaching you in this phase?.
What is He telling you currently that you need to trust His word on?.
I believe this verse will help boost your faith to believe all that He has said. Do read and hold it tight, because it is exactly what He needs you and me to believe in the most at this time.
The verse:
If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:13 AMPC
And even if your faith is shaken and you are struggling with doubts. You can take it a day at a time confessing His words to you. All the promises He has spoken concerning your life. Choose to believe it, even if your head is telling you otherwise. For you hold the key to what you believe in. What would you choose to believe in today – your fears; your worries or His word?
We all need to choose to believe His word. It doesn’t necessary have to make sense to us. Or seem relatable – per another person’s experience. But if it is His words to you, then He will accomplish it in His own way.
In my previous blog post, I shared a verse and I believe it’s another word we all need to embrace in this season and that is – He will do it!.
[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Philippians 2:13 AMPC
Don’t boast in your strength for it has never been because you know how to orate/speak eloquently or even because you have an influential family background. But simply, because grace found you and me. And that right there is our success story.
I will leave you with this verse –
We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
Romans 8:28 AMPC
This is my assurance by faith, knowing that He will work it all out (perform all that He has said). And believing that what He has said concerning us is good!. Because He is our partner, the kind that won’t back out on us. One with the utmost integrity. If He could give His word concerning Jesus’ birth, centuries before He was conceived and birthed. Then what has He said concerning you and me, that He can’t follow through with?.
May His words prosper and abound in us. (Amen) 🙏
