🧍🏼‍♀️THE UNIQUE YOU 🧍🏾‍♂️

Lady on hat - The Unique You

How many of us have wished we had the exact same thing another person has? Or a similar experience of what they had or are having?

It’s important for us to know that as much as we may have grown up under the same circumstances with someone; or shared a similar experience, our journey remains individually unique. Your journey is unique, likewise your friend; sibling or spouse’s journey remains unique.

Just as you are both different in traits and all, you are also, in your respective paths and purpose. As much as you and that friend of yours, may have grown up in the same town or locality, you still remain “you” and he/she remains who he/she is.

What should we do differently, henceforth?

It’s time for us to cut ourselves some slack. Aspire to do great things in God, even as you admire the journey of another. But never lose sight of your own journey.

Don’t lose sight of your journey - Great story

Again, your journey remains unique. It’s like an identification tag. It remains linked and mapped to you. Stop chasing a facade! Face your reality, dwell in your journey and be graceful with yourself in the process towards becoming.

We look forward to the best and it’s in Him, we can achieve that. Not when we are actively chasing after another man’s journey.

Have you been celebrating your journey?

If you haven’t then it’s time for you to start this, dear. It’s time for you to embrace your own story; our individual script and be graceful with ourselves while we work in our lane towards growth and being all that God wants for you!

With God, your script is different. Though it may look like another person’s story at different instances, it can never be the exact same!

God deals with us as individuals. And He recognizes that too. Hence he made a plan for you. He has a good, perfect and well thought of plan for you.

Your story is unique. Do embrace the uniqueness of your story henceforth.

It’s time for us to stop the comparison that leads us farther away from our current stage. Why don’t we start seeing the good in our own paths and walk it through?

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel as they say. But I put this to you, that light can only be seen or experienced if you continue in that path till you cross over to the other side of it.

Story writer - Abba writes our story - His script

Though your story may seem out of place to another person’s story, you are still different and your script remains unique. 😊

Abba loves you and He wants you to remember this – “I am still good at writing great stories and plans, would you trust me enough to embrace my script for your life?”

What would you say to His request?

I’d leave you to answer that. 😊

Abba’s blessings all the way. We are blessed children of the most high. Glory! 🙌🏼

Happy new week. Stay connected! 🤗

Celebrating one’s journey- we don’t always do that. We tend to look at someone else’s journey and might wish for somethings different. I like the reminder to focus on our own journey, after all it is the Lord who is the author of it.

  8. This is a really great message, especially in this day and age. With social media it can be easy to fall into the trap of comparing oneself to another. But it’s important to remember that there is no one else out there like you. Thanks for reminding me of that. ❤

The 10th commandment is just as important as the “worse” sins of murder or adultery. “You shall not covet …” applies to anything that is someone else’s, including their fame, their adventures … even their blogs! 😁
“He leadeth me, O blessed thought!
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught!
    Whate’er I do, where’er I be
Still ’tis God’s hand that leadeth me.” Written by: David Clydesdale

    1. LOL! Yeah! – the part “even their blogs” made me chuckle. 😀
      No coveting! 😄
Hmm. An important reminder for us. That we should remain calm and still, not because the situation has changed but because we are aware of the one that leads us. Just like David in Psalms 23. 🙌🏼
Thank you for sharing these. Blessings to you and the family. 🤗
