💌 GOD’S NOT DONE WITH YOU YET 😊

God’s not done with you yet - His Focus is on you

We some times get caught up in the fix of “I have tried this before and it didn’t work out so why try it again?”. And “what if I do this again and it still doesn’t work out fine as expected?”

In this fix, we are left with one option – to either doubt or to trust God once more. And this is because it seems like we have tried it out severally and it still didn’t work out and we were already told it’s okay for us to move on from it. “Move on, it’s not a do or die affair” they say. 😌

I know that we have a decision to make when it comes to trusting God once more even when everything else seems like “the past records tells me otherwise”.

But then I’d ask you this question:

Who would you choose to bank on? – Your past records or God’s past records?

That’s a food for thought for us. 📌

Choose - Bank on God or Your past records

I remember sharing with a friend and I said that I was denied of a particular application four (4) good times when she was telling me of how someone close to her was denied once and it was discouraging to try it again.

I was able to tell her to trust God and yeah prayerfully try it again. Because really, just because we have failed at something a couple of times, doesn’t mean that, it is not the way.

It just might be that you have been trying a wrong key to that particular door. And it’s when you use the right key, that you will be able to have access through the door.

God took a vacation - Wrong key - Right Door

It’s time for us to tell ourselves “God isn’t done with me yet, and I am not done with trusting God either” 📌

Yes, those failing times may have taking a toll on you, but it’s time to tell yourself “I’m gonna try again”. If you are certain it’s His way for you, please don’t give up just because you seem to have had past experiences of denials.

I am not giving up on God, and I admonish you, not to. Because He is not done with your script yet! And His good plans is still for you.

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”

Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC

He only has good plans for you and He is not done with you just yet! 📌

Blessings to you this day and always. (Amen) 🙏🏻

Oh what a wise and important post, my friend. If we are still alive and breathing in this life, God is not done with us yet. Our plans are not His plans.

Einstein, considered by many to be one of the greatest minds of the last century, said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” However, he did not trust in a God who hears and understands our weaknesses as Jesus does.
The fact is that one cannot “do the same thing over and over again.” The first time you do it, that is new.
The second time you do it is not the same thing, because it is the first time you have done it for a second time! And so it goes.
The key message here is “Who do you trust? Your own past or God’s past.”
I keep on praying for healing for a friend as i have prayed for the last 13 years, every day! Today could be the day Jesus heals him. I will not stop just because a smart physicist told me it was pointless. I will trust Jesus until I see my friend healed. Thanx for a great blog, dear sister.

  3. This post reminds me of the widow that continued to plead her case to the unjust judge and how he finally showed justice to her because of her persistence. If I remember correctly, Jesus used this example as to how we should pray. Continuing to persevere in prayer can build so much endurance in our faith. I don’t know if this idea came to you for personal reasons, but I pray God will pour out His blessings over you and that you would delight in Him more and more each day, just as He delights over you.

This is an excellent reminder to not be discouraged and give up after one try. God is indeed not done with us. Sometimes the timing may just have not been right.
Thank you Mercy for this wonderful reminder to not give up but be open to God’s workings in our life.

  9. I agree with you, we need to use the right key to open the right door. In most cases, we are denied because our knowledge is insufficient. Knowledge is a key….woe unto lawyers for taken the key of knowledge (Luke 11:52). Knowledge is the key to freedom. Never give up until your knowledge gain divine approval.

  11. Well said and a great reminder!
Reminds me of a lyrics that goes “don’t give up on God because He won’t give up on [us].” He is more than able and I’m banking on Him.

  14. hello! great post 🙂 “Who would you choose to bank on? – Your past records or God’s past records?” I really like this sentence sometimes when we fix on our situation it’s so hard to see God’s hands but the Bible can reminds us all the good works God has done and He is still able to do greats things in our life. This verse came in my mind: “O taste and see that the Lord is good”. We can trust him for one day we will see his goodness. Be blessed!
