A while ago, I was reading a study plan and it made me ponder on how we have undermined the provision of God’s words to us.
I couldn’t help but think about how we would be if God’s words were not one we had access to.😌
What if no one dared to share it after Jesus ascended to heaven and the gospel was never spoken about.
What would have become of us really?
Most times when I think of the hard days or trying seasons of my life. My sanity mostly has been that I had at least one of God’s words or promises to hold on to. And that right there, is the glimmer of hope that keeps me going till it illuminates me fully.
What if these words weren’t available in those times? I don’t know what would have become of me. But I know I would have struggled and maybe someday I would have given in to the pressure. 🥺
Not to dwell on the what-if’s too much yeah. But reflecting on this, made me think of how little we give thanks for His words. How He has given us His very words to keep us going even when the going gets tough. His words that keeps us sane in the insanity of the world systems. 🙌🏼
His word is the basis of our living. That is what brought many of us to the understanding of Abba’s love and therein we accepted Christ.
It is His words that grew in us and continues to grow in us to produce life. His kind of life. 🙌🏼
“It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.”
John 6:63 AMPC
So today and always, I am grateful for His words to us. 🙌🏼
I am grateful for the access we have been given to His words. And thankful that some people dared to get the Bible translated in languages we can all understand and relate to, for a better understanding of God’s promises to us.
And lastly, thankful that His word address all that concerns our lives (both past, present and future) and being. 🙌🏼
We choose to be thankful for your words, Lord. 🙌🏼
Remember this – You are not hopeless because His words will accomplish all that He has sent it to accomplish in you!
“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Amen! This is so true. I have been thinking about this too and arrived at the same thought. I don’t know how I could live and retain my sanity without His Word. He gives me peace and hope through His Word. Indeed the Word of God is living and active, it is our lamp, our light! I praise God for His Word and praise God for bloggers who share His Word in different ways. 🥰🙏🏻
