🌟 HE’S CALLING YOU ✋🏼

He is calling you - Abba’s love

Many at times we are lost in our schedules and tasks that gradually the time we give to God decreases and over time it fizzled out.

For early morning sleepers in the house, like me. 😂 Getting out of bed is a struggle and can take a lot of talking to self, to get one’s self out of bed. The struggle is real! 🙈

But if we continue to let ourselves prioritize everything else aside for our place of fellowship with Him, we gradually lose touch with His essence in our lives.

Hey you, there is no place we would rather be than in Him. This is the truth the enemy wants us to let go off and trade with everything else.

Hiding place - Strong tower - Refuge

Everything else without us seeking Him first is misplaced priority.

“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.”

Matthew 6:33 AMPC

There is a reason why the Bible states it as “……besides”. Everything else isn’t foremost! God is!

Have you asked any seemingly successful man or woman who seem to have all going on for them, but they lack that place of fellowship with God, the question – “Are you fulfilled?”

Truthfully, some may tell you they are but most will tell you that they don’t feel that way. Why? Because something is lacking. He is lacking; God is lacking.

It’s like a zip that is worn out on a beautiful dress. The dress is beautiful quite all right, but because the zip is worn-out, it’s as good as it being useless.

Or can you wear a dress or clothing with a worn-out zip? 🤔

I will leave you to answer that question.

I for one, can’t. And that’s because the zip was meant to make the dress fit well. But because it’s worn-out, the dress won’t be appreciated for the beauty that it possesses.

Relationship with God - Earthly possession - Fulfillment

Abba in your life and all that you have, is the zip that makes it all fit well. He makes the difference. He is the one that keeps it going, that everyone sees you and all that you are doing and they are thankful for your life.

Enough of us misplacing our first priority. It’s time to heed His call out to us.

No more hideouts. He is not condemning you. Instead He says “come”. 👐🏼

“Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives. [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,”

Romans 3:23-24 AMPC

You can start afresh with Him today. No more hideouts! Listen to Him – “Come!”🌟 (Matthew 11:28-30)

Remember that you are loved and you are welcomed by Him. 🌹

I pray that we would listen to His call henceforth and we will not lose sight of our place in and with Him. Amen 🙏🏻

Blessings. 🤗

  8. Things have been really busy in my life lately, so I’m trying to focus myself more on prayer and God during the day. Even during my prayers I can sometimes be distracted. It’s important to centre ourselves around Him. I like the zip metaphor that you used here – true, nothing in life matters without God to help centre us.

    1. Phew. I can relate with the busy times, sis. There is a lot to do, simultaneously. And the distractions. 😓 Thankful we have Him to help us refocus and re-prioritize. 🙌
Yes, sis. He is all that matters, because everything stems from Him. 🙌
Thank you for sharing this, sis.
