It is amazing to know that God has long before now called us His own sons and daughters. Way before we were born or came to acknowledge Him as Abba.

He also gave Himself up as a sacrifice. Which is His display of love towards us. In doing this, we have gained victory through His death and resurrection.

In one of my reflections, I came to understand that beyond what we may have been called (or named); Or how the world perceives or wants to define us; Or the curfew we have placed upon ourselves probably because of the incidences surrounding our birth. Or what we may have been told of ourselves, by people we hold to high esteem in our lives or those we listen to.

The truth is (this is your real identity) regardless of these popular opinions, you are loved. You are called His friend and you are now adopted into His family.

Summarily, God affirms you dear friend. And He affirms me.

He is fully aware of your past but yet He chooses to see you for who He has named you, before all these incidences happened to you. Those happenings that you have allowed yourself to be defined by.

He calls you “Worthy”; He calls you “My beloved”; He calls you “His chosen” ♥️

It’s time to accept your reality and true identity in Him – A child of God. 💃🏻
