💮 GOD – The Difference In Man 💞

Smile……
As a movie lover, I was down to earth with a movie I downloaded offline on You-tube and also my multi tasking side was on the active mode as I was busy with my latest hobby.. Lol (if you want to find out, see me in camera.. 😂)

Okay, back to the movie. It was the story of a family who basically lived their lives apart for a while. It was time for the summer break and this was a time for them to come together as a family. Different things happened, words which were left unspoken were dug up which later got sorted out and all. But the mum, had an ailment which was at the verge of claiming her life and she was on medication, but the children being away for a long time still weren’t in the know. There was this pregnant lady the mum took in to keep her company and she had being with her for a while. So basically, this pregnant lady knew a lot and was always taking care of their mum.

But the intriguing part for me, was the scene when she made a statement while she was with the doctor for a check up (which was part of the procedure) as this was addressed to the doctor as a response to her advice on undergoing series of chemotherapy – “would you rather spend your last summer on a chemotherapy?”. This she said with a smile. Though it’s a movie act but while she made the referenced statement, I thought to myself – I wish she knew God and wouldn’t have to live on counting days to her supposed Date of death.

Yeah!, if only she knew God and the power which is able to save and deliver that is found in Him through Christ. If only, there was the place of Christ in her life and she didn’t have to countdown to her supposed death date when it was the summer she had always longed for and they were finally reconnecting.

But then, I realised though I would have wished for a miracle in her life. It was still not gonna happen cos she obviously didn’t have that knowledge.

So this is the lesson I want to share with us: that despite the doctor’s reports that one could have been told, God’s report of us and our being is all that matters. Sometimes last year I shared the story of my healing and all and yeah, though I was told it’s possible it would reoccur if I’m not careful, it didn’t!. Yes dear, God’s report did it. He said I was whole so who am I not to tap into that. I chose to believe His ever perfect, peaceful report to all our crises.

Dear, it’s time for you to shift your focus from the doctor’s report or teacher’s report or even if it’s your family member’s report or parent’s report that you can’t do certain things when we have read countless times that – we can do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens us.

My dear, God had strengthened you even before your conception. So the strength isn’t lacking but the courage to live in the fulfillment of His words unto you believing His Good and perfect report is all that matters most.

And this courage you can find by constantly feeding on His words & promises to you.

So, whose report are you gonna believe? – God’s or yours or the doctor’s or your parent or sibling? (what ever the case may be).

We shouldn’t live in the bondage of their unbelieving words. For those who have heard all their life that – you are weak, so don’t do this or that or you are useless don’t you know you can’t do anything right?. 🙇

To every man who is in Christ, He is a new creation. He or she is a life redefined, no longer defined by his or her background or lineage. Just because they got it wrong in their time doesn’t make it a certified norm or trend that has to repeat itself in you. Just because they messed up or missed it doesn’t mean you have to. Always remember the God in you makes the difference.

Note: 📝
** When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new!

2 Corinthians 5:17 ERV

** Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could be right with God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 ERV

Do have a salient day and fruitful week.
God bless you. 💃
