๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒ„ A LIGHT IN DARK TIMES (2) ๐ŸŒ†๐Ÿ’ซ

A few weekends ago. I had a zoom call with three (3) other amazing bloggers on WordPress. The initiator of the zoom video chat – Big bro Matt of https://jesusluvsall.wordpress.com brought about the idea of us writing about our views on Christ’s life and anything that comes to mind about Him.

So yes, one of the graceful part of Christ for me is His doggedness and commitment to His mandate. He never a misplaced priority and He knew He was here for one goal, which is:

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but that I [give new life and] raise it up at the last day. For this is My Fatherโ€™s will and purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him [as Savior] will have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.โ€

John 6:38โ€ญ-โ€ฌ40 (AMP)

And gracefully, He committed himself to this goal and he achieved it. As read here:

I have glorified You [down here] on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do.

John 17:4 (AMP)

My question for us today is: are we achieving the purpose He has commissioned us to live for?.
Are we completely sold out or partly sold out to His mission statement for us in the stated verse below?

And He said to them, โ€œGo into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Mark 16:15 (AMP)

Are we simply just living life casually, per day forgetting that eternity starts from now. Yes, the kingdom of God starts from here. And we are channels to bring that to fruition. We are called to bring that life – Zoe (the life of God) to manifestation and expression. We are His priests and kings, chosen to spread forth that life.

Do read these texts:

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who [always] loves us and who [has once for all] freed us [or washed us] from our sins by His own blood (His sacrificial death)โ€” and formed us into a kingdom [as His subjects], priests to His God and Fatherโ€”to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 1:5โ€ญ-โ€ฌ6 (AMP)

Did you read that? He formed us into a Kingdom!. So are you still waiting for an eternity to come rather than working in the eternity now to make God manifest in this space, in this time, in this generation and extending it to the generations to come?.

Are we set to have a mind shift and let His Kingdom reign so much and with so much expression, that no darkness comes to play again around us or even in our territories.

Let’s take our lands for Jesus and let’s be light – a city set on the hill that cannot be hidden!.

We are the Light of Christ, His persona, and His ambassadors here on earth. Glory!

โ€œYou are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Matthew 5:14 (AMP)

You have written another masterpiece. This should be a sermon. We as Christians need to act like we are set apart to do our father’s business. What an elegant reminder. God bless you. I look forward to reading the series.

Loved your encouraging post with its challenge to be a light. How badly this messy world needs light. We have ministered in some dark place through the years and found the lost everywhere and found God’s grace shed abroad in a person heart is the start for light. Great post, written well.
