Is there really anyone that is beyond redemption?
You know reading the event that followed the denial of Jesus, by Judas and what eventually happened to him spurred my share on this.
“(Now Judas Iscariot acquired a piece of land [indirectly] with the [money paid him as a] reward for his treachery, and falling headlong, his body burst open in the middle and all his intestines poured out.”
Acts 1:18 AMP
It saddens my heart because this same heart of “I have sinned so much, God can not forgive me” is still happening a lot in this age.
And it’s becoming more rampant, because we are in a generation where we care more about what our world or culture dictates rather than what God, who made all things for His pleasure, desires for us in all of this.
What is that lie the enemy has been feeding you with?
What is that truth in God’s word that you need to believe in?
The devil keeps chasing us far away from the truth of His word, because the farther you get away from His truth – which is our covering, the more we become vulnerable and receptive to his vices. The Word (one of which is the Bible) is our weapon of warfare against the devil.
Now imagine the battle field, which we currently are in this world. With the prince of this world (the devil) never resting and always on a search to recruit more people to himself. The battle is indeed real yeah. So imagine you leaving your sword or shield behind and being pushed away from your army (community of believers who will hold hands with you to pray and intercede). It is a lot easier for the devil to deal with you. And it’s that place he is driving many of us to.
Again what is that lie the devil has been feeding your heart with?
The word of the Lord is our strong tower. Jesus is the place of refuge for us. He is the one who keeps us safe in all of this. And it’s only in Him that we are safe and not out of Him.
Stop believing the lies of the devil and plunge into that security and hope that lies in Christ Jesus – the word! Indeed your story can be re-written. Because He hasn’t stopped being the potter to our clay and He is able to make out of us a master piece – a delight to Him, and a wow to the world.
“So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.”
Jeremiah 18:3-4, 6 NIV
Would you allow Him to rewrite your story today and every other day?
Remember in this life, His Grace continues to call unto you and I. Don’t believe the lies of the devil that you are undeserving of it. Yes, you may feel undeserving but Jesus knew you deserved it, hence He gave Himself up for You!
You are worth more to Him than you can ever think of!
You are valuable and you are loved by the father!
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 NIV
His throne of Grace still calls out to you and I – come!
“Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].”
Hebrews 4:16 AMP
I pray that our hearts will be receptive to His words and we will approach His throne of Grace that we may obtain His mercy. 🙏🏻

Mercy, the amazing thing about Father’s mercy is its reach! NO ONE is beyond redemption as far as He is concerned. It is ONLY our refusal to accept His mercy that limits Him. Even hell is a “final mercy” of God to those who will not accept any other. He will not allow the murderer to continue killing; He will not allow the abuser to keep abusing; He will not allow the thief to keep on stealing. So His final mercy is to isolate these in a place like Gehenna, “where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.”
If Lucifer could find it in his heart to repent, Father would even forgive him! But he committed the “unpardonable sin” by blaspheming the Holy Spirit. He refused God seeing all that God could reveal of Himself to him. So the Holy Spirit has nothing more to offer him to call him back.
So even his hell is still God’s mercy at work to stop him from continuing to harm those of us who have only sinned against a small part of the Revelation that we are able to understand. But someday, when the veil is removed and we behold Him face to face, only those who long to see Him will enjoy it. For the rest, His final mercy will be to say, Okay, have it your way, and depart from Me.

True words. The believer must be wary of the devil’s tricks, one of which is to make him feel/stay condemned having gone/done wrong. When we truly understand the Father’s love, we’ll know He didn’t carry out the redemptive work just to forsake us at our points of weakness.

Evil lies with us every day. That’s why we need to have the Bible in hand, read the word of God and live by the word of God. Do not be conformed to this world , but be renewed in Jesus.

Thanks for sharing this piece. Lucifer is just cunning and has a lot of wiles and tactics. He has a way of inputting fears into one and also create an unreal image and made it seems real, all this battle is just of the mind but if a man can guard his heart with all diligence, coming against the wiles of the devil we will break free but the problem is the fear of handling our shame after we had fallen, the picture of been a disgrace and that one’s life doesn’t mean anything again, amidst others but it only takes light to pull a man out. I pray the Lord rescues every lawful captives of the mighty and let them see a great light
