✨It will pass ✨

It will pass

I was having my study on this particular day, and I was reading a plan which was “Time for everything”. And the theme for that day was – “time to weep”.

Hmm. Not a subject we love but I know we can relate to it because we have experienced it at one point or the other even though it’s not something we would have wished for or even prayed for. But then it happened and it happens. Phew!

But the graceful part of reading this plan that day, was the Bible text. I have heard this text a lot of times growing up – both in church, fellowship, gatherings etc. But today it was in a better light for me.

The text:

“His anger continues only for a moment, but his grace continues for our whole life. You may be sad all through the night, but in the morning, you will be happy again.”

Psalms 30:5 EASY

It gives me Hope knowing that no matter how lasting our pain season (I.e. the night time) may be, the days where we enjoy His grace and joy is much more because it is longer than the night time (I.e. the morning).

I being so curious even tried calculating the hours based on my possible “night time” mode and it wasn’t even up to half of a day. It was just one-third of the whole day (on the average 6-8hrs).

So what was my point in calculating it. I wanted to bring it home, so that I can have a mental picture to walk with henceforth.

That no matter how long my trying time may seem, it has a shorter timeframe compared to the glory time God has prepared for me.

The Glory plan

And another good part is that – even in our trying time, when it seems as though God has taken a long vacation from us, or our prayers are being ignored. In all these moments, God is still actively working through us. 🙌🏼

So we may feel we are in a season where we can’t take it any longer. Sighs, I know that feeling. Some days you are wishing it was easy in that state or phase just like it was for your friend or partner A or B. But then maybe that was their joy phase and they have had their own “weeping/ trying” phase.

Choose to trust God knowing that each day is a step closer to the end of it and guess what? You will be better for it at the end of it.

It’s been a stretch I know. 🥲 But the Lord needs those muscles stretched so that you can carry the “More” He has for you for that long “joy” phase that awaits you.

God is relentless about you

In it all, you have a God that cares. And just because He isn’t answering you just yet in this phase the way you need Him to, doesn’t mean He is absent. It just means, He has long before now equipped you for this phase. And all you need to do is to search within. You know why?

“[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.”

Philippians 2:13 AMPC

Simple! It’s because He is the God at work in You! And maybe not around you at that time. But celebrate the blessing that He is always at work on your inside to make you Fit and ready for all He has planned for you. His very good plans. 🙌🏼

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”

Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC

May you come to realize how deep and unending His love is for you, always. 🙏🏻

His reminders to you:

“…Be happy with the things that you have. Be happy, because God has said this: ‘I will never leave you; I will always be there with you.’”

Hebrews 13:5b EASY

And,

“I am telling you what is true. You will be sad and you will cry. But the people who belong to this world will be happy. Yes, you will be sad. But soon after that, you will become happy instead.”

John 16:20 EASY

And,

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

1 Peter 5:10 ESV

You are never alone. ✨❤️

Blessings to you and your family. 🙏🏻

Thank you for this encouraging reminder sister. It’s easy to get lost in those difficult times and feel as if it never ends. But you are so right. Scripture is our road map and the map shows us that the rough ways become smooth again. He builds us up for a purpose. That’s an really encouraging thought. Blessings. ❤
