I got a notification from my Google Photos app on a particular morning. Interestingly, I got it just some minutes after I finished praying.
And as I looked at three of the pictures in the suggested slideshow. Of which these three (3) were taken at two (2) different stages of my life.
One was taken while I was in High school. It was my graduation week. And the other was taken while I was in the university. It was also my graduation week.
But there was a huge difference. A big God-difference I must say. 😊📌

In this picture, I barely smiled. I remember just feeling disconnected with many aspects of life. I didn’t exactly have the best grades as I would have wanted, and couldn’t say I had any sense of direction with my life.
I was just a young lady full of worries. At that stage of my life. 😢
Here is the university picture. 👇🏻👇🏻
Here you can see me smiling a lot. I was even given the “Most friendly award” for my set, in my University fellowship. Which happened to be the biggest fellowship on campus at the time.
How could I have gone from a lady with many worries, to being one that God used for many lives I came across at the University?
Well you can take a good guess. 😉
I encountered God for myself in Uni. And this changed and transformed my life. It also birthed the beginning of all the expressions in my life, that God has given to me to steward.

I don’t know where you are right now in life or the challenges that has defined you so far or made you become a shadow of yourself. 😌
I digress here a bit – I remember my mom telling me a couple of times that she doesn’t know what happened to me in High school. Because I had changed.
This wasn’t a good change most definitely. And for a long time I felt like I couldn’t change what had happened. Such that it started to feel like “this changed Mercy” had come to stay. 🥹
…..so yeah God can change you and your situation just like He did for me. He can redefine you and make you a totally whole and new you! 🙌🏼
Just like it is stated in His word: 👇🏾📌
“Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.”
