The Lord brought this verse to mind on a particular night while having my time out with Him.
Referenced Verse: 👇🏾
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is The pen of a ready writer.”

And in the Message translation. It states: 👇🏾
“My heart bursts its banks, spilling beauty and goodness. I pour it out in a poem to the king, shaping the river into words.”

Having read this, I have this question for you – 👇🏾
How often do you seek to worship the King (God) in your own words. With your own lyrics.
It doesn’t have to be perfect (where the pitch is hitting the right notes) while you sing it.
The Lord (your lover and mine) longs to hear our own love notes to Him. The sound of our adoration of Him. 🙌🏼
He longs to hear from you today and always!
Will you sing a song to Him?
Will you worship Him with a song that wells up from within you? In your own words that communicates your thoughts of Him.
Will you write Him a poem speaking of how you feel about Him?
Will you spend time today just to bask in the thoughts of who He is and how amazing He is?
Let me bring this home. I’ll be using a scenario we are familiar with or one that is relatable. 🙂
Imagine you have a fiancé or your spouse (for those married) or a dear friend of yours. And he or she sends you a letter either electronically or an handwritten one.
How do you feel when you see it?
Much more than receiving it, how do you feel when you get to read it in their own text. Written in their own words and in their handwriting (for a physical letter). 😊
I will attest to it that it is endearing. If you are like me, I treasure it so much that I even keep it in a box that I use for letters like that.
To read it again and again at other times. 😉
In conclusion, I am nudging and encouraging you, dear friend.
To take time out of your day and every other day to compose your own songs and speak your heart full of adoration and love for Him.
As you fellowship with Him, express yourself to Him. Let your deep communicate to His deep. 📌
He longs to hear you! ♥️
