Today—19th July, I stood at the train station with my son—who just turned 4 years by the way, almost 1 month ago. 😊
While we were waiting for the train we were meant to board, I saw another train getting ready to depart from the platform we were at. For a split second, the story of the ark in the Bible flashed through my mind, as this train got ready to depart.

The conductor of the train stuck his head out, one last time, trying to see if any other person was coming or trying to get on this particular train.
And in that moment, I thought of Noah. Possibly Noah did this as well. 💭
He possibly stuck his head out one last time, watching out, hoping that someone else would believe what was about to happen to the whole of mankind. Hoping someone will choose that “saving grace” which the ark represents.

He possibly prayed some silent prayers, praying that it wasn’t only his family that would be spared. I believe in God’s mercies, the ark was built in a way that it could accommodate as many people as possible—it wasn’t only intended for the family of Noah and the animals alone.
The ark is a symbol of salvation at that time, to mankind. 📍
While the “undeniable” ark was being built—because of its massive size, everyone in that land most likely may have seen it. If not all, possibly most people did.
A little digging up on Google: 👇🏾

🔻 What if we are reminded of this similar experiences daily as we anticipate, wait for, and choose to board the trains we see around us?
🔻 What if when next we board a train, we choose to reflect on how we are on a journey of life as well? And just like the trips we make on a train has an ending, we also have an ending. 💭
The difference however is that we can choose where we want to end—Life with Christ or Eternal damnation, which we can also call death.
“I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God’s blessing and God’s curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life.”
Deuteronomy 30:19 GNT

The life being talked about in this aforementioned verse, is only in Christ Jesus. 👌📍👇
“Those who find me find life, and the Lord will be pleased with them.”
Proverbs 8:35 GNT

The entire chapter of Proverbs 8 talks about “wisdom”. And just in case anyone reading this doesn’t know this yet—wisdom is also Jesus Christ. He is the wisdom of God in flesh.👇
“But God has brought you into union with Christ Jesus, and God has made Christ to be our wisdom. By him we are put right with God; we become God’s holy people and are set free.”
1 Corinthians 1:30 GNT

Hence, embracing Jesus as our Lord, is us embracing life—eternal life. Because anything eternal lasts, and it transcends time. 💡
“This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life.”
1 John 5:11-12 MSG

Would you choose life today, friend?
Would you join the ark that is taking us home—where we see God face to face?
The ark in this context is no longer a perishable structure erected or made or formed by human hands.
It is rather now a being—Jesus Christ. He is not only our refuge that keeps us through every season and phase of life here on earth. He is also the way, the truth and life—eternal life.👇
“Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.”
John 14:6 GNT

Stay blessed, friend.
Until next time, love and light. ❤️💡

Tragically, the path away from Jesus does not look like the one in blog… at first!
It usually looks like nice cars, dinners out on the town, smart phones and computers and air conditioners and heaters… all to lure people to start down the wrong way. For some, they see the misery early; for others, not until the very end!
We have to keep praying for our lost loved ones and friends that they will see it before it is too late.

Hmmm. The many distractions we have in our world today.
Yes to us praying for these ones, and extending it to those we may not even know personally. 👌
Thank you for your sharing on this. 🤗
I hope your week has been a good one?
